Rania holds a master\u2019s degree in English Language Teaching from the University of Reading, and she is a PhD Candidate in Language and Communication at the Hellenic American College of Athens. She teaches students of all ages at her own English School in Patras, Greece.<\/p>

According to Rania, the number of students with learning difficulties has increased dramatically over the past two decades.<\/p>

Her school uses multimodal material to accommodate all students, and she does not require written homework from students with learning difficulties.<\/p>

Rania tries to build students\u2019 confidence and focus on their effort, and she adds that dealing with students\u2019 emotional challenges means being understanding, offering emotional support. She continues by saying that teachers need to know about what they are dealing with and get to know each child and their difficulty individually.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u201cThrough assessment, we try to make them see their difficulty as a strength rather than a weakness. And if they do good work, they get good grades. It only depends on their effort. Nothing else.
